Our favorite city in Italy. The capital of the world for centuries, this magnificent city has a tremendous amount of history that is remarkably accessible.
Perugia
Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is a great example of an Italian hill-town. It has a smaller, more provincial feel, which was a nice change from Rome and Florence.
Florence
Just about everything bad that happened to us on this trip happened in Florence, but we still liked it anyway.
